The OG Folding Chair
A lot of good things came out of the year 1892. We just happened to like the chairs the best.
Our team is design-forward and
quality minded, and that’s why we exclusively use the original manufacturer of the director’s chairs, Gold Medal. Manufactured and printed 100% in the United States, these chairs have been a classic at events, on the field, and in the home of thousands of Americans since their first showing at the 1892 Chicago World Fair. Sure, there’s cheaper versions out there,
but why go with the imitation when the original can last you a lifetime?

1892’s chair designs are created in-house by our graphic designers, and your completely custom designs receive the same attention to detail that we put into our own.
The chairs are made from solid American Beech wood that has excellent durability and longevity, and printing oversight for the canvas is done by real people to ensure a clean finish. Any time you need assistance, you’ll talk to someone who can help you directly with the artwork or the nitty gritty details of the order – no corporate runaround, just good ol’ fashioned service.
